Welcome to Cincinnati Sigmas, the official cite of the Delta Theta Sigma chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated was founded at Howard University in Washington, D.C., January 9, 1914, by three young African-American male students. The founders, Honorable A. Langston Taylor, Honorable Leonard F. Morse, and Honorable Charles I. Brown, wanted to organize a Greek letter fraternity that would truly exemplify the ideals of brotherhood, scholarship, and service.
In Cincinnati, our chapter has been a community leader with our many service and social activities. Our service activities include our Sigma Bazaar clothing drive, Sigma Breeze (senior fan drive) and the Sigma Beta Club. Social activities include For the Lover in You, Sigma Goombay Festival, the Blue Debut Wine Taste and the Midnight Voyage Boat ride.
Since 1950, one way Sigma Men have worked on the front lines of our communities is with its efforts in mentoring young males in elementary, middle and high school, through the Sigma Beta Club. We believe that being and providing positive male role models to the young men of our communities is critical to the growth and development of our future leaders. Our Cincinnati Sigma Beta Club is very active. We meet with them twice a month and facilitate activities.
Our chapter is dedicated to promoting our fraternities ideals of brother, scholarship and service as well as our motto "Culture for Service and Service for Humanity."
Thank you for visiting our website!
Sincerely,
Bro. Caleb Brown, President Delta Theta Sigma Cincinnati Alumni Chapter Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
