HOSPICE CARE

Phillips Manor contracts with a local hospice provider for the purpose of providing specialized care and support for residents and families faced with end of life issues. It is provided through an interdisciplinary team approach with our staff working together with the hospice staff to care for the resident receiving hospice care. It provides for medical care, pain management, and emotional and spiritual support for an individual resident’s needs. Family members are also given educational and support services to enable them to participate in the care of their loved one and to help them maintain their own emotional strength during this time.
